MEN, looking for a game where all you have to do is show up on time? Tired of friends cancelling on you at the last minute followed by you cancelling a tee time? Do YOU like to compete with a little something on the line? Look no further because Bluff Creek is "Choose-Up Central." You can count on a regular and fun game--and the best part is you don't have to to do a thing except show-up or call-in at least 15 minutes before the start time. Come on GUYS, whether you are an "18" or a scratch handicapper, young or old, a grizzled veteran or a little wet behind the ears, you can compete, have fun and win! Bluff Creek invites YOU to play in our regular events, held four (4) times a week. Come as little or as often as you like. Prizes are awarded immediately after play. MENS CLUB
- The Bluff Creek Men’s Club will be led by four (4) directors: Merlin Clute, Chris Pole, Jack Denny and Dave Tipton. If you have complaints, suggestions or praise — sometimes miracles occur — talk to these guys.
- We are running seven (7) special events this year including a flighted Club Championship (see schedule below)
- Special Events include food, beverage coupons and club championship awards, all of which costs money, so, the dues are as follows:
$20 up front plus $1 each time you play in a regular men’s club event (capped at $20 per player, meaning the maximum paid will be $40/player). If someone joins late (or plays infrequently in the regular events), then they will have to pay the $20 plus a catch-up fee of $10 to play in the club championship.
- The more people that join the men’s club the better each special event will be and the more prizes we can award. This money is reserved for fun, prizes and club championship awards, and is separate from the usual choose-up fees. The men’s club money will be kept separately from the golf course’s money and will be run independently of the course (by the directors), although the course reserves the right to adjust the timing of regular choose-ups and special events if scheduling conflicts occur.
- We are keeping track of scores in regular events and keeping your “BC Course Handicap”: (rolling average of last 10 rounds).
NOTE TO MEMBERS: if you don’t regularly play in mens club events but are interested in playing in the Special Events, you can turn in your scores to the course and we will begin to establish your course handicap for the Special Events. You will need to pay the mens club dues to participate in the special events.
